BTW- that is one of the benefits of actually studying art with the head instead of using only the hand. it gives you the opportunity to intellectually analyze, which opens the door to critiquing the work of others. Practicing critiques will accelerate your learning and press you to advance in skill, too. Sometimes a more advanced artist will take you to school and make you eat your words, of course - but if you both have the right attitude about it, it is always mutually helpful. I keep my critiques categorical, circumscribed and as neutral as possible where it comes to personal likes and dislikes.
